Norse Steel, one of the Norse Group companies, has been providing shipbuilding services since 2015. Since 2020, it has become even stronger by combining with modern technology as Norse Shipyard in Kocaeli Free Zone. The journey we started with a 14 metre long Fish Farm Vessel continues today with the production of ferries and fishing vessels up to 70 metres in length. Our shipyard has the capacity to handle 4 vessels with an average length of 70 metres at the same time in the production line. Focusing especially on the fishing vessels and ferries market, our shipyard has also successfully produced various barges and tugboats. As a young and dynamic shipyard, we are strengthening our position in the sector with our innovative and customer-oriented approaches.
We carry out repair, repair and maintenance services of ships quickly and reliably. Since 2020, we have successfully completed the maintenance and repair processes of 15 ships and this number increases every year. In order to achieve our goals, we closely follow serious markets, conduct extensive research and attach great importance to customer satisfaction. In this way, we make your ships ready for service in the highest quality standards and in a short time.
Since 2020, we have been making old ships suitable for re-use by equipping them with the latest technologies. In addition to our project, which has already been converted from a Platform Support vessel to a Live Fish vessel, we are also realising the conversion of an old Japanese fishing vessel into a commercial yacht. With these projects, we contribute to the green energy transformation while enabling old ships to meet modern technology. With our current and future projects, we are proud of the revitalisation of old ships within the framework of sustainability and innovation.
